Arm Lift - Before and After Photos
A Strange Word “Brachioplasty”
A medical procedure commonly known as an arm lift is professionally called Brachioplasty. You have probably seen people (mostly women) with sagged skin on their arms, under its upper part. Today this surgical procedure is an ultimate trend for a successful campaign against obesity that is so popular in Western countries. Statistics shows that not less than 9, 000 people were patients of plastic surgeons and underwent this brachioplasty procedure.
Before and after pictures show incredible results that you can hardly believe your eyes. But all this is true. Of course, every arm lifting procedure has its own features. First of all, this plastic surgery depends on the amount of skin and fat that needs to be removed. The majority of surgeries include an incision that is not very extended, using medical terminology. It means that a surgeon removes sagged skin from a patient’s elbow up to his/her underarm. An arm lift can also be what is called “extended”, when there is extra sagged skin that goes right to a chest. In this case the procedure is more serious, and a doctor will remove that skin making an incision up to the side of the patient’s chest.
Do I need an arm lift?
Brachioplasty is not all about extended surgeries. A patient may have only modest amount of sagged skin that needs to be removed. Then the procedure will include only short-scar arm lift with the incision going not from the elbow, but a bit above it, stretching to the underarm. But this modest surgery is fine for those who didn’t lose too much weight. Otherwise the effect won’t satisfy you, and the results won’t be the same as on the before and after photos.
As we have already mentioned above, brachioplasty is one of popular medical procedures, according to the statistics of American surgeons. But do not think that this imperfection is a result of a weight loss. Skinny people may have it, too. Especially when we talk about older people. The skin under the arm is not that flexible as in other parts of our body. And it gets even laxer as years go by. Fitness and shaping are not a remedy, either, because, unfortunately, it’s all about a human body and genetics. So, the only way is to choose arm lift — this three-hour long procedure of removing extra skin and fat, that makes real miracles. Make sure it really works, looking at incredible before and after pictures.
