This procedure takes approximately 30 minutes to one hour to perform and is done by making small incisions inside the mouth to create a pocket in which the implant is placed.

The recovery period can vary depending upon each facial implants patient. Some individuals can experience swelling and discomfort for several days and are instructed to restrict activities for about ten days.
