The photo on the right has been doctored.  Her right breast shadow is out of proportion and shadows have been added underneath.

Where has modesty gone? This photo is downright disgusting.

Shame on you Heather.... be a lady for pete's sake (if you can).

Today i was trying on a bathing top and i felt like my chest looked 'off'...something didn't look right...then i realized it was the lack of cleavage. But of course cleavage does not exist naturally without plastic surgery! Without realizing it, I have internalized the images of all these fake plastic surgeried celebs as 'normal'. Somehow we expect a woman's entire body to have minimal fat yet concentrate a huge mass of fat right on her chest. I wish Heather and other celebs could stay real so our boyfriends and husbands could see some 'natural' figures. But I do understand the pressure they feel...when you are the only one without silicone, then even the natural big breasts start looking misshapen and small.

Sidra, i absolutely agree. The media bombard us with so many images of perfection(celeb or otherwise) that it make us mere mortals feel inadequate.

I sometimes feel i have to live up to these ridiculously high standards and so i'm constantly striving for an unachievable goal. I'd love to be able to say i prefer real beauty but i'm ashamed to say the media brainwashing is slowly working it's magic on me. Plus, people that i thought were naturally beautiful but weren't 'perfect' have had work done - so what hope is there for the rest of us?

It sounds terrible but i'm glad that males in the spotlight are slowly coming under fire for putting on/losing weight or looking rough because for so long it's only been women that are criticised for these things. In an ideal world nobody would be criticised for looking human but as long as media and the world of celebrity exist, i think it's about time men stopped drooling over seemingly perfect images of women and started feeling the pressure to look picture perfect too.
