OK, let's see now; the teeth are definitely capped, the hair is dyed, contacts instead of glasses . . . . . . . . . sure, why not get a little botox and some of that good Swiss plastic surgery.
OK, this is what I heard. A few years ago, she and Chelsea were scheduled into the same clinic in Switzerland. If anyone (like the press) asked where they were, the excuse was that they were on a mother and daughter holiday in Italy. They had the work done in Switzerland, then chose a remote Italian village where they were able to heal in privacy.
Anyway, the reason that Chelz needed some work done is because she was continuing to look way too much like her father, and they both knew she would be in for some heavy attention when Hillary ran for president, so they thought the most logical course of action was to make Hillary look like a younger version of a "pretty girl" and to make Chelz look like a version of the same "pretty girl." That way, folks would just think that Chelsea was "looking more and more like her mother" as she grew older.
The next thing to do was to make a big deal over Chelsea's "make over" which was front page news everywhere. To that end, Chelz had her hair darkened many shades and straightened; she also slathered on a whole lot of make-up. They put her in designer suits (she still looked like a potato sack; poor thing) and had her sit with Madonna and Gwenyth Paltrow at some style shows in Paris (or Milan) and the press had a field day at Chelsea's "new look." There was zero talk of plastic surgery because she was so young at the time. All this was well calculated, and it seems to have worked like a charm. The "new look" of Chelsea Clinton had to be "old news" before Hillary's presidential run, and it is.
It seems that the plastic surgeon used the same "model" for both of them. Check out Chelz lips and eyes and nose and jowls (compared to when she was about 18 - 20) and you will notice some very strange changes. However, what they could not do was to change the shape of Chelsea's forehead, which continues to be a problem.
Whatever their reasons (and I believe it is to stop a whole lot of talk), they both look better. However, I'm sorry they couldn't have stayed as they were. Forcing your daughter (or talking her into) plastic surgery at such a young age is something no mother should do; especially not just to stop tongues from wagging while going after the presidency.
