I'm not certain that the comparison is fair. There must be at least 10 years difference between those 2 photos. What did she look like right before she overfilled her lips?

I  always loved Meg, way back on ATWT but what happened to her lips.  WHY do they ALL DO that ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

 

I would love their bodies, but not all that  lip lol 

Sad. So sad. Her cuteness in her early movies, like "When Harry Met Sally" would have allowed her to grow older gracefully, and still be beautiful at any age. This obsession with what is deemed "perfection" in Hollywood- and reaching elsewhere- is out of control.

If you don't work on the INside when you're younger, and as you grow, it won't really matter how you "enhance" the outside. You'll still be unattractive. And all this ego that causes them to buy into having to be 20 to "be beautiful" is what will always make them ugly in my book.

 America is the worst with this craze. In Europe, the women are respected and considered beautiful at any age, and with no surgery.

Like I said: Sad.

She had the cutest face and even with aging and wrinkles she would have been attractive. It looks as though she said to her surgeon, "Make me look like I Courtney Love".

I feel sorry for her...why in the world would you want to look like howard the duck?

 what kind of self image must you have?  I'm sorry, but hollywood or nobody would think the meg from a few years ago is attractive as the new plastic meg.  It is just sad.  I hope that she is happy but I can't imagine that someone who does that to themselves are truly happy.  I hope I am wrong

when I think of her... I think of her fake lips.. I can't even enjoy her movies because of them!!!

There is nothing wrong with trying to improve your looks as we age, but she looks positively RIDICULOUS!

Is it just the camera angle, or does the outsides of her nostrils also look puffier?  What is that all about?  Restylane?  She had a cute, perky little nose before.  Now it looks Fido-ish.

Ok i wanna say i love Meg Ryan shes an incredible actress. But me and some friends watched her new movie My Moms New Boyfriend, Oh My God, she looks awful with all her plastic surgery. Her mouth looks sooo stiff and her eye brows are in the middle of her forehead. Meg hunny you looked better before.

I think one of the best features of her face when she was young and pre-botoxed etc., were her lips. They had such expression and made her whole face so cute. Why can't these women just leave their faces alone? I'm sure without all the cosmetic augmentation she would look great today, getting older isn't a crime or a sign of failure.

This is a case of if it 'aint broke, don't fix it'. Her lips were her best feature, they had that beautiful duck shape already, like Michelle Pfeiffer's. She tried to enhance perfection and ruined it in the process. I wonder if she did this because she was a long term smoker and that had taken its toll on her lips?

Meg looks like a cosmetic mess...It's truly sad. Why did you do it Meg? Quit while you are ahead!...Look at Cher, Kenny Rogers, Melanie Griffiths, Courtney Love, and Joan Rivers - They didn't know when to leave well enough alone...For God's sake, stop! If you don't, then your career will continue to suffer.
