She looks disgusting with all this botox crap and these old-lady cheeks. She used to be so pretty...

In the first picture she is 10 years younger than in the second picture. The second is also a very candid shot taken in the morning, probably she had just woken up and she is without make-up. The first photo is a photo shoot so of course she is going to look better. Let's hope the paparazzi are not around to take your photo first thing in the morning.

What's wrong with her lips?

She just looks older in the second picture and she does have wrinkles!  The first picture was taken, like someone said, about 10 yrs. ago and during a photo shoot!  Good gracious, what's wrong with someone trying to look better?? They are comparing 1 young photo to an older photo, one done during a photo shoot and the other, a random photo.....what do you expect? The woman is pretty....just get off her case. She still looks better than others I've seen with the botox....ie: Meg Ryan, Melanie Griffith, Linda Evans (Dynasty). Sure wished I looked as good as Nicole!

nicole looks flawless in the first picture, no doubt, but i dont see why everyone EXPECTS celebrities to look flawless and wrinkle free all their lives. for god sake's, is no one allowed to look bad in a photo? shes not 18, so we shouldnt even be expecting her to look like it. who really cares?

I agree. She is a fabulously beautiful woman and cannot even be compared to the scary "Joker" masked faces of some of the aforementioned (Meg Ryan, Linda Evans, et al). Leave her alone. She has enough to handle with Keith!

OMG SOMEOF YOU ARE SO RUDE...I WONDER WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE!!!!!..ANYWAY EVERY PICTURE IS DIFFERENT..SURELY YOU KNOW THAT YOURSELVES...IN SOME PICTURES WE LOOK GOOD AND IN OTHERS UGH...THATS WHY SO MANY "CELEBRITIES" TRY TO HIDE THEIR FACES OR GET RID OF THE PICTURES THAT ARENT TAKEN OF THEIR GOOD SIDE..!!!! SHE HASNT HAD ANYTHING DONE, SHE IS ONLY 40 YEARS OLD FOR GOODNESS SAKE..WHO THE HECK NEEDS SURGERY AT THAT AGE ..PULEEEZE..SHE LOOKS GOOD...VERY FAIR HAIR AND SKIN A NATURAL RED HEAD..NEEDS TO KEEP OUT OF THE SUN...

At least Nicole looks healthy and normal for an aging celebrity.  Some of these other debotched jobs are frightening! 

She is a beautiful lady, everyone takes a bad picture here and there!

I've seen her high school picture... I don't think she's had any work done. I think she's aging naturally...

 

OH my gosh, she looks like she is on her 60s.  She looks so beautiful in the before picture even my husband is in love with her.

But now I can't believe it... I wish these beautiful celebrities should leave their face alone.

It looks like the first pic has had photoshop work done on it.  Probably not a fair comparison.

Personally I think she is, and always has been, as ordinary looking as can be. She looks great in the 2nd pic considering her age, botox or not. But her hair color in the 2nd pic is way too light, and she would look better if it matched the color in the 1st pic. Forget the face take care of that hair!!!

  i know for a fact botox does not have all these affects,making people look so different. i have botox every 3 months .About 30 shoots all over my head,botox stops unbearable migraines.It is the only treatment that works,I have had shots for at least 6 years now by my neurologist.I don't look different.my husband says it makes me look rested.I can still make expressions ,etc.  If I had frown lines I might look a little different.I don't frown,never have,but I can move my eyebrows etc.I don't get some shinny face or whatever they say happens,oh joker face. I think all this talk is silly,I can see plastic surgery changing people's looks alot.Botox,if your lucky you don't look like you never sleep.I don't really believe she's even had botox.She is'nt the type to frown either.

ok of course they are going to find the worst picture for the after shot of her...... but this is a prime example of people that should not get lip injections.... her lips are too small too begin with that any plumper is going to be too full for them.....

Only her hair dresser knows for sure! She's still cute, and you guys know it.

she looks as though she would have aged very nicely had she stopped the botox and whatever she's done to pull her eyebrows to the middle of her large forehead.

I have always thought she was a pretty (not beautiful), very elegant woman. She still looks pretty (when doing movies and in events where she is decked out) but her face shows many signs of nip adn tucks.

The pictures used to show her "after" is just plain ugly.  It is a very bad picture.

Actually, the photo on the left was already taken after some "enhancements". I distinctly remember seeing some before-after pics of her before she got to Hollywood-and after, and she has had a nose job.

 If any of you have seen that movie she played in with Tom  Cruise, you know what I'm talking about. She's obviously had lip injections-which make her look absolutely gross.

The first picture is DEFINATELY not a photoshoot. It's candid at an event so yes she does look better than the 2nd.

Then the 2nd picture is DEFINATELY not taken when she woke up. Do you wear makeup and when you first get up?!? Also her hair is all curled. Yes it's candid but she still looks like shes at surgery!!!!!!!

It's funny how some of you are defending Nicole and saying people are being rude when you are the same people leaving mean comments on other celebrities.

I like Nicole but of course like most other older celebrities she has DEFINATELY had some kind of surgery done! So stop denying it!

She's definitely a botox abuser, has had her lips augmented (badly), has had all her freckles bleached or peeled and has had small breast implants (see December 2007 Vanity Fair shoot). She's about as 'natural' (her words) as Pamela Anderson.

She has great skin it means she knows how to take care of it. It doesn't matter if it's w or without botox. I think botox helps to keep from getting lines and wrinkles. My boyfriend has some botox on his forehead. He looks fine

Why would such a (ordinarily) pretty girl want to turn herself into an over processed, hardened, old, 'movie queen'? Joan Crawford comes to mind.

There is no plastic surgery here. S he has said that she just stays out of the sun an swears by sunscreen. Yea right . They are all full of crap.

Uh.... How about taking a picture of yourself first thing in the morning or on a day when you're trying to feel good but just can't or you're not standing in the most flattering lighting.  And then, put it up against a beautiful picture of yourself from years ago and then, post it and ask for comments.  How would you LIKE THAT????????

I've been wondering myself what happened to Nicole.  The hair is definitely horrible...she does not look good as a blond.  I also think she's too thin and that may have changed some of her facial features as well.  I do believe she has had Botox.  Whatever it is, she is not the beauty she once was.
